Welcome to my personal page! This is a place to share a bit about me and my interests, things I'm currently learning, and what I'm excited about for the future. Note that this page is still under construction!
A bit about me
I'm a Berkeley alum who studied microbiology, machine learning, and reticular chemistry—eventually finding my way to where these fields overlap. Now I work at AIMATX, a startup using AI to transform advanced materials discovery, where I split my time between the technical and operational sides of the business.
Before all that, I grew up as a competitive swimmer in Southern California where I've absorbed several lifetimes worth of ultra-violet light. I still love staying active, especially via cardio and more technical sports. On those two points: I recently completed a 140-mile bike loop around the Bay Area and am working hard to improve my tennis fundamentals. So far I've managed to avoid the marathon phase that seems to have claimed most of my friends in their mid-20s.
When I'm not working or moving, I enjoy picking up new pieces on piano, doing some landscape and travel photography, and spending endless hours editing in Lightroom Classic.
